Halo3X: An OS X Halo 3 Stats Viewer

Not really relevant, but here’s a program I wrote a little while ago. Just some minor things, nothing to do with the announcement from the other day. Anyways, here it is…

Halo3X: An OS X Halo 3 Stats Viewer.

Halo3XSS

Written in pure Objective-C, this app pulls gamer data and pictures from bungie.net’s website a presents it in a user friendly manner. It would be pretty easy to take this app and port it to the iPhone.

Note that this app is open-source, and source can be found here.

Edit (11/28). Updated the app, made the gamertag field a bit bigger so it can fit longer gamertags, added a new icon (thanks Wayward Spleen), and made pressing enter equivalent to pushing the look up button.

Happy Thanksgiving!

App will not launch on MacBook Pro. You got a writeup on HBO but Louis can’t get it to work either. Can you comments? Perhaps a bug on Intel Macs?

Actually, I tried it on both a Mac Pro (Xeon) and a TiBook (G4), and it wouldn’t open on either one. I don’t think it’s processor-related.

    Both machines are running 10.4.11.

We need a webapp like this for the iPhone. Maybe this is the first step…

New, universal binary should work for everyone (not just PPC’s) :D

I just finished a web app for the iPhone to pull some stats for Halo 3. You can view it at http://www.myedgenet.com/iphone/halo. The style sheet only loads right in safari so if you are viewing it from your desktop you will want to use that.
